A growing, design-led housebuilder is seeking two experienced planning professionals to help shape new residential communities across Cornwall and Devon. With projects ranging from boutique schemes to large-scale developments, this is a chance to lead planning strategy and unlock the potential of a strong land pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver planning strategies across multiple development sites
- Manage pre-apps, applications, appeals, and planning conditions
- Provide advice on land appraisals and acquisitions
- Build strong relationships with LPAs, stakeholders, communities, and consultants
- Keep up to date with planning policy and legislative changes
- Represent the business at planning committees and public consultations
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Town Planning (RTPI membership desirable)
- Experience in both public and private sector planning
- Proven track record of securing residential planning consents
- Commercially aware with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
Desirable:
- Knowledge of land acquisition processes or planning/GIS software
- Strong regional knowledge of Cornwall & Devon
- Established local planning contacts
