Are you ready to shape the future of Talent in a fast-growing, award-winning technology company? This is a hands-on role where you will help build a best-in-class Talent function, with your expertise directly influencing business success!

Henlee Resourcing is excited to be working exclusively with a leading tech solutions provider based in central Birmingham, to recruit their first Talent Manager on a permanent basis.

In this pivotal role, you will attract, develop, and retain the people who make the business exceptional. You will drive recruitment, internal development, and talent retention, acting as a true ambassador for the employer brand. You will work closely with hiring managers and the People Team to ensure an exemplary experience for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Lead a small Talent Acquisition team and collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively source, screen, and shortlist candidates using multiple channels - in particular, Headhunting.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process of more senior roles and during high volume peaks - delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Train and support hiring managers on recruitment and onboarding best practices.
  • Champion the employer brand / EVP and promote company culture internally and externally.
  • Support onboarding and induction processes
  • Monitor and report on key recruitment KPIs
  • Establish and manage talent management initiatives, including succession planning, internal mobility, and diversity & inclusion.
  • Lead on learning & development activities, managing the skills matrix, and highlight development opportunities.
  • Undertake project work and process improvements as required.

We require proven experience of in-house talent acquisition, gained within technology or professional services and, a track record of building talent pipelines and successfully filling roles. You’ll be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities / projects.

Strong interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for creating an outstanding candidate and employee experience are also essential.
