This award-winning and highly successful tech company based in Birmingham, has a superb opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor, to join their talented People team.

Reporting too and supporting the Chief People Officer, you will lead the day-to-day running of HR, across the full employee lifecycle - helping to shape a positive, high-performance culture, whilst ensuring the smooth running of all people-related activities.

This is a broad, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You’ll be trusted to manage a mix of operational and commercial HR work, supporting everything from employee relations and policy development to wellbeing, reward, and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of the people strategy and contribute to continuous improvement projects
  • Advise managers on employment legislation, policies, and best practice
  • Lead on all employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, capability, probation)
  • Oversee the colleague lifecycle, including onboarding, leavers, payroll administration, and benefits
  • Maintain accurate digital personnel records and ensure compliance
  • Monitor absence trends and support managers in addressing issues
  • Support the management of HRIS, dashboards, and analytics to drive strategic insight
  • Coordinate wellbeing, CPD, and ESG/community initiatives
  • Assist with policy creation, reward reviews, skills assessments, and training programmes
  • Contribute to internal communications, accreditations, and employee engagement projects

About You:
You’ll be an HR professional with solid experience in a generalist HR advisory role, ideally within a fast-paced, tech environment. You’ll be confident dealing with ER issues, have a sound understanding of UK employment law, and enjoy building trusted relationships at all levels.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are essential - as is a genuine passion for people, culture, and continuous improvement.
