Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this well respected and growing HR consultancy based in Swindon to recruit an experienced and proactive HR Advisor on a permanent basis. The role is site based in Swindon and free on-site parking is provided.
What you’ll be doing / key activities:
- First point of contact for the HR Advice Line service, ensuring accurate, timely and commercial HR advice and support for clients
- Providing advice to clients on all aspects of HR, particularly employee relations matters, over the telephone and via email
- Advising and managing on behalf of clients’ disciplinary issues, employee grievances, performance management, redundancies, and TUPE
- Creating and issuing documents that supports the specialist advice provided to clients
- Delivering project work including staff surveys, salary benchmarking and managing client appraisals
- Helping develop and prepare training materials
- Creating and updating client policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure compliance with employment law and good HR practice
What we’re looking for / about you:
- CIPD qualified / working towards, or equivalent experience
- Excellent and up to date UK employment law knowledge
- Experience in managing a range of ER casework
- Graduate calibre
- HR experience over various business sectors is desirable.
- Commercially aware of the needs of small businesses
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to organise own workload to meet targets and deadlines
- Good MS Office skills – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
