What You’ll Do
- Lead with Vision: Develop and deliver a forward-thinking strategy for recruitment, promotion, and retention aligned with our People Strategy. Sustain, develop and grow police officer recruitment in a difficult recruitment market
- Drive Innovation: Explore and implement cutting-edge approaches to attraction, assessment, and retention — from digital platforms to inclusive campaigns.
- Champion Diversity: Ensure our workforce can best represent the rich diversity of our communities, supporting our DEI priorities.
- Inspire Excellence: Lead high-performing teams, deliver outstanding candidate experiences, and shape the future of our workforce.
- Collaborate Widely: Work with internal and external partners, agencies, and suppliers to deliver a proactive and inclusive approach to resourcing.
What You’ll Bring
- A strategic mindset with substantial experience in recruitment, resourcing, and retention leadership.
- Proven success in leading marketing and attraction campaigns, managing recruitment platforms, and delivering promotion processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
