Interim HR Advisor – Grimsby – upto £36000 DOE plus excellent benefits – hybrid /flexible working. 6-month FTC.

Your new role

Hays Human Resources are delighted to be partnering with a globally recognised leading supplier within the energy sector for an Interim HR Advisor for a period of 6 months (could be extended).

You will be reporting to the Head of HR responsible for the employee lifecycle of the business aswell as working on HR projects.

The purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day HR activities and services across the site, providing HR support to Managers and supporting the Head of HR and the Payroll & Benefits Officer..

Areas to cover will include:

  • Employee Relations - advise, co-ordinate and participate in all employee relations including mediation, grievance and disciplinary processes
  • Recruitment and Onboarding
  • HR database / system work and reporting production
  • Assist with the apprenticeship programme
  • Prepare and collate annual and mid-year performance reviews and documentation
  • Support the Training Assistant/Coordinator with L&D activities
  • Project support to the Head of HR – variety of ongoing projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally, you will be minimum Level 3 CIPD qualified (or similar level experience level)
  • Previous HR Advisory and Employee Lifecycle experience
  • Involvement in a wider remit of HR projects such as Change Management support/administration
  • IT and reporting skills.
  • Payroll experience desired – but not essential!


What you'll get in return

  • The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary of £340000 to £360000 DOE and qualifications – with a retention bonus on completion of the \FTC of upto £2000
  • 37.5 hours a week with some flexible working options available – will consider part time options of 30hours+ - those must be worked over 5 days a week.
