We’re creating a brand-new Head of People & Culture role to build the cultural, emotional and developmental foundations that help our people thrive and to ensure equity, inclusion and wellbeing are lived experiences, not just statements. You will embed new organisational values and expected behaviours, with a strong emphasis on equity and inclusion in all parts of employee lifecycle.
The role will lead employee engagement, employee experience, and wellbeing strategy, own recruitment strategy and employer branding. You will build leadership development and manager capability frameworks that promote inclusive leadership. You will lead belonging, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives, including mental health, flexible work, and work-life balance.
You will embed EDI strategy and work across policies, practices, systems, and culture. You will work closely with the Executive Director and senior leadership team. You will act as a trusted advisor, lead organisational change, and develop a strong People & Culture function to support growth and transformation.
You’ll bring proven experience leading culture and values-led change, CIPD Level 5 (minimum), strong expertise across recruitment, learning and leadership development, wellbeing and EDI, and the ability to influence at senior level using people data and insight.
This is a hybrid position, based in our Bath office with travel around the Duchy Estate as required.
