This is an exciting interim opportunity for an experienced senior Talent and Learning leader to shape and deliver an integrated people strategy that supports a modern, high‑performing organisation. The role brings together strategic oversight of talent acquisition, leadership and capability development, succession planning, and early careers to create a seamless and engaging experience from attraction through to progression.

As Head of Talent & Learning, you will design and implement a cohesive Talent Strategy that strengthens recruitment, resourcing and career development. You will ensure hiring processes are inclusive, efficient and reflective of organisational values, while using workforce insights and data to anticipate future skills needs and guide attraction and development activity. Building strong relationships across the organisation, you will work closely with leaders and People Business Partners to deliver timely, high‑quality talen t outcomes.

You will lead the Learning and Development portfolio, shaping comprehensive plans that cover mandatory learning, professional development and leadership capability. With a modern, blended approach—including digital learning, in‑person development and experiential methods—you will ensure colleagues can grow and thrive. You will partner with senior leaders to create impactful management and leadership programmes and will embed everyday learning through accessible tools, systems and manager‑led activity. Evaluating impact and demonstrating return on investment will be central to your approach.

The role also plays a key part in shaping culture, inclusion and organisational change. You will ensure that all talent and learning initiatives promote fairness, belonging and the behaviours expected of leaders across the organisation. You will contribute to broader culture‑change efforts by equipping colleagues with the confidence and capability to adapt, innovate and lead in a flexible, modern environment.

A further focus of the role is the development of early‑career pathways and internal mobility. You will lead the design of apprenticeship and internship opportunities, build clear career frameworks and progression routes, and work in partnership with teams across the employee and volunteer journey to create aligned development pathways.

To support high‑quality delivery, you will oversee learning and recruitment systems, ensuring effective use of LMS and ATS platforms, compliance with mandatory requirements, and strong governance across processes. You will manage budgets and suppliers to ensure value for money, and you will provide regular insight and reporting on talent and learning performance.

Leading a skilled and passionate team, you will inspire a collaborative, inclusive and solutions‑focused approach to supporting colleagues and enabling organisational success.

If you are a strategic thinker with strong operational delivery skills, a passion for learning and inclusion, and a track record of leading impactful talent and learning functions, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference and shape the future of people development at scale.

This role is London based with a hybrid expectation of 2 days a week in the office.
