Morgan Law are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to support a public sector organisation based in Salisbury. This is a temporary opportunity offering hybrid working, combining time on-site with remote working.
The successful candidate will provide professional HR advice and operational support to managers and staff across a range of people-related matters, ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with public sector standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line and advisory HR support to managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
- Support managers with case management and ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislation
- Assist with investigations, hearings, and documentation related to employee relations cases
- Contribute to HR projects and organisational change initiatives where required
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an effective and responsive HR service
Key Requirements
- Previous experience working as an HR/ER Advisor or similar HR generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employee relations processes and UK employment law
- Experience working within the public sector is desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience preferred
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working model (mix of office-based work in Salisbury and remote working)
- Full-time hours preferred, though some flexibility may be considered
