My client is a professional services company who is entering a pivotal stage of their growth and are looking to appoint a Head of HR. They are a fast-paced, high-performance, sales-oriented organisation and are looking for someone who has operated at a senior level in a similar environment. You will lead the people agenda through the next phase of scale, building a high‑performance, commercially aligned organisation that positions them as a market‑leading employer in their field. Operating in a PE‑backed environment, this role is accountable for driving performance, attracting and retaining top talent, and building scalable, fit‑for‑growth people practices.
Your new role
This role is responsible for building a high‑performance culture, attracting and retaining top talent, and delivering best‑in‑class HR practice.Key Responsibilities

  • People Performance Excellence:Design and embed simple, transparent performance and reward frameworks that drive excellence, enable clear career pathways, and support continuous coaching, feedback, and merit‑based progression.
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand:Build a compelling employee value proposition and market the organisation as a destination employer through innovative recruitment strategies, exceptional candidate experience, and strong talent partnerships.
  • Talent Retention & Culture: Shape a high‑performing workplace culture through targeted engagement initiatives, competitive benefits, meaningful development opportunities, and environments where top performers thrive.
  • HR Excellence: Create a high‑performing HR function, ensuring best‑practice policies, full compliance, effective employee relations, and trusted people leadership support across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in building high-performance cultures
  • Strong HRIS implementation experience
  • Passion for employee development and engagement
  • Strategic thinking with excellent execution skills
  • Experience in implementing performance-related pay structures
  • Track record of implementing successful recognition programmes
