The Royal Albert Hall is looking for an experienced senior HR practitioner to provide strategic leadership and inspiring management to the People and Culture team and more widely to colleagues across the organisation, ensuring the effective delivery and enhancement of all people-related activity. This is the most senior role in the organisation for an HR professional / specialist.
This role is central to shaping a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture, while supporting the Hall’s strategic ambitions. With a focus on practical delivery, the Head of People and Culture will manage the full employee lifecycle — including recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, reward, HR systems and organisational culture — ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and best practice at every stage.
You will work closely with the Executive team and wider leadership team to provide expert HR guidance, support workforce planning, and contribute to the development and implementation of people initiatives. As a trusted partner, you will help align people policies and programmes with the Hall’s vision and business objectives, ensuring that the organisation attracts, retains and develops a talented, diverse and motivated workforce.
We’re looking for a confident and experienced Head of HR with a CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent, demonstrable experience at senior level), excellent knowledge of UK employment law, and a hands-on, people-first approach.
