Location: Predominantly home-based (occasional travel as required)
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our client’s team, to deliver high-quality workplace investigations and advisory support.

In this role, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, managing the full investigation process from scoping through to final report, while ensuring compliance with best practice and legislative requirements. You will be confident in gathering and analysing information, conducting professional interviews, and producing clear, commercially minded investigation reports on sensitive matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex workplace investigations, both formal and informal, from start to finish.
  • Conduct professional interviews and gather evidence in a structured and compliant manner.
  • Draft high-quality, commercially focused reports with clear findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate progress and outcomes effectively to key stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Manage expectations regarding outcomes and timescales, ensuring professional delivery.
  • Maintain and develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in conducting workplace investigations, ideally within a regulated environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance business needs and legal requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Discreet, professional, and able to handle highly sensitive information.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident communicator with strong investigative expertise to make a tangible impact in a high-trust, professional environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a background in employee relations within the Public Sector but wants to transition to more of a consultancy approach.
