Are you an experienced HR Business Partner who loves being hands‑on while also shaping long‑term people strategy? Do you thrive in environments where you can build, influence, and genuinely make an impact from day one? This newly created HR Business Partner role offers a rare opportunity to join an organisation at a pivotal moment as they establish a brand‑new HR function. Based onsite in Richmond, with good flexible working, this is your chance to help shape the future of the people experience.

About the Role

As the HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in designing and embedding a modern, consistent, and engaging HR offering. Working closely with a supportive HR Administrator and partnering with leaders across the business, you’ll balance operational responsibilities with strategic initiatives that drive performance, capability, and culture.
This is a true generalist HRBP role, perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while also stepping back to influence direction and build organisational maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to develop and deliver people strategies that support business goals.
  • Design and improve HR processes, ensuring consistency, clarity, and efficiency across the organisation.
  • Enhance the HR function by establishing structure, policies, and robust frameworks.
  • Lead the continued development of the L&D offering, ensuring learning is accessible at all levels.
  • Build management capability through targeted development, coaching, and training solutions.
  • Support internal mobility by improving visibility of opportunities and creating clear development pathways.
  • Utilise existing tools such as eLearning and contribute to the enhancement of the careers site.
  • Support recruitment, promotions, and workforce planning.
  • Strengthen employee relations processes, coaching leaders and creating consistency and confidence in local ER management.
  • Use HR reporting, data, and time & attendance systems to provide insights that inform decision‑making.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and energy, someone who wants to contribute, shape and grow with the organisation.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience as a hands‑on HR Business Partner in a generalist capacity.
  • Confidence in both strategic thinking and detailed operational delivery.
  • Strong background in L&D, talent development, and management capability building.
  • Experience across recruitment, process improvement, reporting and HR systems.
  • A proactive, sleeves‑rolled‑up approach with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards it) is preferred.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary of £45,000–£55,000
  • Onsite role in Richmond with strong flexible working
  • The chance to shape a brand‑new HR function
  • A supportive HR team environment with room to grow and develop
